The biggest celebration of the year is going to happen soon in Kingsland! A tradition for over 40 years, its the best small town fun to be had anywhere.  If you want to celebrate America’s birthday in style, be sure to come!

With July 4th on a Tuesday this year, the fun begins on Saturday, July 1 and ends with big bang fireworks at dark on July 4th. There are so many things to do, including a children’s parade and land parade, golf tournament, BarBQ cook-off, street dance, craft show, classic car show, and lots more. There are numerous quirky contests, many of them involving water since after all this is AQUA boom, and it’s on the shores of Lake LBJ. Check out the Rubber Ducky Race and Boat Parade. Fireworks are spectacular, the best in the Hill Country. And, there’s nothing like viewing them from your boat or the Llano River bridge over Lake LBJ.

Aqua Boom is a long standing tradition for many families and is very popular – 25,000 to 35,000 people usually attend this event. Here is the URL to the Aqua Boom website with a schedule of events, don’t miss it!
