Public or Semi-Private Golf Courses

Lighthouse Country Club in Kingsland was established in 1968 and has seen extensive renovation and upgrades since then. The 18 hole semi-private golf course is located in the rolling hills, near the headwaters of Lake LBJ. The course was renovated in 2006 by Jerry Slack and Leon Howard, and features Tifeagle greens and 419 Bermuda fairways. There are four sets of tees from 6,558 yards (championship) to 4,922 yards (red). The practice facility includes a driving range and 10,000 square foot putting green with a chipping green. Excellent views of Packsaddle Mountain, granite outcrops, and beautiful spring wildflowers enhance the golf experience. A restaurant and bar for food and beverage is available in the clubhouse. Legends on Lake LBJ Golf Course in Kingsland was designed by Tom Kite, Roy Bechtol and Randy Russell. The course is part of a lakeside community on Lake LBJ and is available for public play but memberships are available. The par 72 championship course features Tifeagle greens and fairways. A full practice area, fully stocked pro shop, and beverage shed and snack bar are available. Lake LBJ surrounds the course and many holes boast views of the beautiful Texas Hill Country. Llano River Golf Course in Llano is located on the banks of the beautiful Llano River. Currently managed by the City of Llano, the course has seen numerous upgrades and improvements over recent years. It is a public course, and there is a fully equipped pro shop and driving range. Located only a few miles west on RR 152, near the City Park and swimming pool. Reasonable green and cart fees. (325) 247-5100

Delaware Springs Municipal Golf Course in Burnet is a 18 hole championship course with pro shop, driving range, practice green, snack bar and dining room. Rolling Hill Country setting with various water hazards and sand traps. Limestone lined Delaware Creek traverses the golf course for added challenge. Scenic Hole 17 is listed in Jeff Barr’s book, “1001 Golf Holes you must play before you die”. Beautiful setting among native trees and wildflowers. (512) 756-8471

Hidden Falls Golf Course in Meadowlakes, near Marble Falls, was designed by Leon Howard in 1973. It is a 6,700 yard par 72 course with 4 tee box options. Rolling terrain with numerous water hazards. Full service restaurant and bar. (830) 693-3300
