Real Estate Website Traffic

With so much emphasis by both real estate agents and consumers using the internet to advertise and shop for real estate, it is important to look at the various real estate web sites to see how they compare. Based on stats from comScore Media Metrix, the following table shows the top four real estate websites that market homes for sale, based on number of unique visitors in March 2016.

Zillow.com 54,648,000
REALTOR.COM 30,835,000
Trulia.com 28,989,000
Homes.com 9,460,000

Each website has its own unique features, and consumers may decide that they like some sites better than others. But in general, the public loves to shop for real estate on the internet as the number of unique visitors to the top real estate web sites increased 15% over the past 12 months. A few years ago, the national franchise real estate companies’ websites were nearer the top of the list, but in recent years consumers appear to like the sites shown above. There are just a couple of national franchise sites that currently break into the top 10. If you list your home with Landmasters Real Estate, your home will appear on all four of these top websites, as well as dozens of other popular sites, including LandsofTexas.com, LandWatch.com, Homefinder.com, Point2Homes.com, Lakehomes.com, and LandandFarm.com.
